About us

Etna Trekking is a family company consisting of three persons:
Franco Emmi, mountain guide since 1978, volcano-fan and climber
Pietro Malfitana, responsible for transfers and driver.
Lara Mansfeld, tourist guide, responsible for reservations and organisations.

• Two English/French/German/Italian speaking tour leaders,
• Two mountain guides
• Three drivers

Our agency is certificated UNI EN ISO 9001:2000

All cars are covered with official licenses, insurances, and annual security checks.

Our guides are official international mountain guides.

The idea of Etna Trekking was born 15 years ago whilst working with geology students coming from European Universities. Organizing their student excursions between Etna and Aeolian Islands we thought about opening the marvellous itinerary as well for interested people.
We really enjoy our work and so we want to pass on this passion to our clients.
